Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
Through Journey Clinical, we offer KAP. Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) combines sub-anesthetic doses of ketamine with structured psychotherapy to treat conditions like treatment-resistant depression and PTSD. By inducing a dissociative state and promoting neuroplasticity, it allows patients to process repressed trauma and break rigid thought patterns. HIPAA Compliant
Teletherapy
We understand that life can be busy and it's not always easy to make it to in-person therapy sessions. That's why we offer teletherapy services that allow you to connect with our licensed therapist from the comfort of your own home. Serving clients in the states of Florida and Michigan. Welcome! Brandy Koester Currie is a mother to six children ranging in ages 25 to 9. I am also a Combat medic Army veteran having served all over the world including beautiful Afghanistan. Before I would join the military, I was a 9th grade high school drop-out and teenage mother. Literally born on the floor of an old home in Florida. It was the military (Army) that showed me a new way of life and possibility. After completing the coursework to catch up, I started to notice that helping others get to the root of their challenges gave me hope. I was inspired by those around me also seeking to change, make a better life for themselves or sometimes just process life's challenges. It was then I decided to go back to school with six children in tow and the most caring, kind person I know, my husband Russ supporting me. In the past I have worked with trauma survivors and through this and my own life I have come to realize that one individual can change the trajectory of a person’s life. If I can be that one person, to listen empathically in a space in which you feel seen and heard, I’ve met the mark. And if I don’t make the mark- I’m so laid back I don’t mind being told. You are the expert of your own life, and I am inspired by the resiliency that is cultivated in others. I look forward to meeting you.
